This work came as a result of collecting building materials from construction site for the ”Rajićeva” shopping mall just next to the Faculty of fine arts in Belgrade and combining them with crocheted milieus bought and collected from elderly female shoppers that used a facade of the Faculty to sell their hand-made objects.
Playing with hard building materials and gentle decorative objects I created sculptures and installations by imitating their utilitarian use in everyday life.
These simple, almost ready-made objects now communicate as pieces of art with transformed aesthetic value.
