Nikola Dimitrović, MA Visual Artist (1990, Belgrade, Serbia) gained his master degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade at the department of Painting in 2019. He has won the award for “Best film” in selection: Experimental film/video art at Martovski Festival in 2024. His artistic practice is characterized by variety of media, approaches and styles, but unified in themes and interests. The focus of his work is on reflection of personal towards collective issues, intertwining of sexual and religious elements and re-examination of tradition through deconstruction of social norms and relations. He currently lives and works on the Belgrade – Istanbul route.
